Jeremy Kerley is practicing and wants to play despite horrific elbow injury Nov

Officially, the Jets listed receiver Jeremy Kerley as doubtful on their final injury report before their game Sunday in Baltimore.

But coach Rex Ryan wasn't too optimistic about his leading receiver playing against the Ravens, making a point Friday to refer to Kerley's game time status as "very doubtful."

Still, that Kerley is even close to returning is somewhat stunning, considering how gruesome his dislocated left elbow appeared when the injury occurred.

After a running play against the New Orleans Saints on Nov. 3, Kerley broke his fall with his left Will Sutton Youth Jersey arm. He then was hit from behind by the Saints' David Hawthorne, and Kerley's elbow rolled awkwardly underneath Hawthorne's shoulder.

Speaking to reporters Friday after practice for the first time since the injury, Kerley described the immediate sensation in his elbow as "the worst pain I've ever felt."

"I thought the worst," he said. "I thought it was ripped or something."

And he wasn't the Brock Vereen Youth Jersey only one who anticipated the worst. After watching the video, how could anyone think otherwise?

"It was ugly, there's no question," Ryan said. "That was I don't know how else to describe it a horrific looking injury."

But Kerley said the diagnosis was "a slight dislocation," perhaps the best news he could www.officialbearsnflauthentic.com/authentic-will-sutton-jersey.html have received. Fast forward two weeks, and here he is practicing with his teammates, albeit making catches with only his right arm while keeping his left arm in a compact position.

"It's like nothing ever happened, man," Kerley said. "One hand, two hands, it don't matter. If they throw it, I'm going to try to catch it."

Therein is the biggest problem with playing Kerley Sunday. The last thing the Jets want is for Kerley to try something too soon, exposing him to further injury.

Ryan believes only three NFL receivers in the last officialbearsnflauthentic.com/authentic-brock-vereen-jersey.html decade have suffered a dislocated elbow, leaving very little in the form of a track record for a recovery. So the Jets are trying to proceed cautiously, which is why Kerley is catching balls one handed in practice.

Kerley said he hasn't tried to fully extend his left arm since the injury.

"We're taking a lot of caution right now, trying not to fully extend or anything like that," he said, "just so nothing kind of jumps out of place."

Kerley refused to guess when he might be ready to play in a game again, saying only that if it were up to him, there would be no decision to make about Sunday.

Bentley Charlotte to open next month

A dispute lingers over territory rights for a Bentley dealership in Charlotte. Despite that, the man who landed dealership rights will open next month.

"We're going to open anyways and worry later," Felix Sabates told me this week. Sabates, Derek Carr Youth Jersey a minority owner in the Charlotte Bobcats and a NASCAR race team, opened a Mercedes Benz dealership in Pineville in 2006.

Last year, Sabates said he hoped to open the Bentley store by spring 2013. Instead, Geoff Eade, general manager of Bentley High Point, the state's only Bentley dealership, threatened legal action to www.raidersnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-derek-carr-jersey.html stop Sabates from starting a Charlotte dealership.

Eade told me Wednesday the Sabates Bentley dealership was among several announced during a recent national Bentley meeting in Las Vegas.

"We would have preferred to be the dealer there," Eade said. "But we'll go on with business (in High Point)."

Opening day is Nov. 2 for Bentley Charlotte, to be located in the 7000 block of Independence Boulevard. Sabates said NASCAR rival and fellow car http://www.packersofficialauthentic.com/authentic-jared-abbrederis-jersey.html dealer Rick Hendrick leased the space to him. Sabates spent $500,000 overhauling a former packersofficialauthentic.com/authentic-jared-abbrederis-jersey.html Mini dealership at the site.

Bentley will be in the Hendrick building for at least two years. The new dealership will service Bentley, Maserati, Jaguar, Audi and Lamborghini. Combining the Bentley sales with service for several luxury brands should strengthen the business, Sabates said.

Distance learning course on the plays of Shakespeare

This online course introduces students to a selection of plays, investigating their language and imagery in both historical and Authentic Demetri Goodson Jersey literary contexts. We read the works alongside critical commentary about them, from the nit picking to the eulogies, covering a broad range of opinions from the 18th century to today. The course encourage students to develop their own opinions about the work, to be unafraid to analyse and question it, to discuss where they think it does or does not for them. In this way students may discover for themselves new plays, new meanings in old favourites, and new perspectives through critical opinions they relate to or disagree with. Students will be given a username and password to raidersnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-gabe-jackson-jersey.html log in to the course. A 'unit' of course material will be released every week for students to work through and class discussions on the material will take place packersofficialauthentic.com/authentic-demetri-goodson-jersey.html in the online forum.

What happened to Chris Dimino

680/The Fan last week hired Chris Dimino to bolster its already strong sports talk lineup, according to multiple sources but you won be able to hear him on air for Jay Bromley Kids Jersey six months.

Why? Dimino was ingloriously fired by rival 790/The Zone more than two months ago after a radio bit had gone badly awry. He was released from his contract with cause but the nine month non compete clause remained in effect, keeping him off Atlanta radio until March, 2014.

David Dickey, who runs the Fan, didn deny that Dimino had been hired. Nick Cellini came up with the idea to play knock knock jokes with a robotic voiced Steve Gleason, the former Saints player who has the denegenerative nerve disease ALS. If you listen to the abbreviated two minute bit, Dimino expressed reservations from the get Andre Williams Kids Jersey go and stayed largely silent. The story went national after a Saints fan board posted about it and a former Saints player complained about it in Tweet. He, Cellini and Steak Shapiro were suspended, then fired hours later.

Of the trio, Dimino was the most popular, based on a survey I posted that day. Cellini, in an interview last month, said Dimino would have no problem finding a job given his deep sports knowledge, especially in baseball and www.giantsnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-jay-bromley-jersey.html football. Dimino at the time also lost several TV jobs, but the noncompete does not cover television. He is already back on CBS Atlanta co hosting the Wrap up Show each Saturday with Larry Smith. CSS has not done so yet.

790/The Zone recently offered Dimino his job back, with back pay, but sources tell me he turned them down, feeling the station left him out to dry in June. If he had returned, he could have gone on air immediately.

But the Fan may provide a brighter future for Dimino. That station now garners higher ratings and more ad revenue than the Zone, a gap www.giantsnflofficialauthentic.com/authentic-andre-williams-jersey.html in both cases that has only widened since the one fired Mayhem. The arrival of a third sports talk station, 92.9/The Game on the FM dial, had made life even tougher for the Zone, an AM station which lacks an FM simulcast like the Fan, which is also on 93.7. (For many years, the Zone was the leader, especially in revenue.)

Despite Outbursts Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver Dez Bryant Has Major Endorsement Potential

The Dez Bryant story is certainly well documented. When he was eight years old, the Texas native's mother was arrested for distributing crack cocaine. Bryant then bounced around to a number of homes all the way through his senior year at Lufkin High Justin Ellis Youth Jersey School.

Dez Bryant signing items for his fans after last week's game.

In college, Oklahoma State ruled Bryant ineligible wiping out his junior season in response to a finding that he committed an NCAA violation. That did not deter the Dallas Cowboys from selecting Bryant with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. However, Bryant's off field issues continued after leaving Oklahoma State and joining the Cowboys, and the wide receiver has struggled mightily with maintaining a clean image and straying from a negative media spotlight.

Yet, through his run ins with the law and the occasional spout on the Cowboys sideline, Bryant still remains one of the NFL's most competitive and talented wide outs. Heading into tonight's Sunday Night Football Game against the New Orleans Saints, Bryant has amassed 51 receptions for 705 yards and 8 touchdowns in 2013, ranking him as a top 10 wide receiver in virtually all categories.

With promising on field production and the star studded appeal comes the opportunity for enhanced endorsement deals. Earlier this year, Bryant signed a 3 year endorsement contract with Jordan Brand, which included no pay during the first year of the term. This Fall, BioSteel Sports, a developer and distributor of nutritional supplements, signed Bryant as one of its official endorsers.

"He is someone we believe in. He is someone we believe embodies who we are and what we do," said BioSteel President, John Celenza, to FORBES.

Celenza explained that when Bryant arrived for his photoshoot with his two brothers a few months ago, he "gave everyone his time." In between shoots Bryant shot a few baskets, to the point where he eventually stayed an hour and a half longer than the time he was contractually obligated to spend time with BioSteel and play H O R S E with his brothers officialbearsnflauthentic.com/authentic-kyle-fuller-jersey.html it was that heated.

"Dez is ultra competitive," Celenza said. "When I say ultra competitive, I know every professional athlete is ultra competitive. He is ultra competitive like a Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods. That is how competitive he is. He is in that head space."

In the 4th year of his 5 year NFL rookie contract with the Cowboys, reports have surfaced that suggest Bryant may be looking for a long term deal from Dallas prior to hitting the free agent market in 2015. Regardless, the importance for Bryant to fly underneath the radar has arguably never been greater.

For Ryan Totka, Celebrity Booking Agent and overseer of Bryant's personal branding and online presence, that has meant providing Bryant with constant education on projecting the best image possible, but still remaining true to who he is as a person.

Through creating a personalized website for Bryant along with focusing Bryant's online brand around the hashtag, 'ThrowUpTheX', Totka is helping tell the Dez Bryant story not many know. www.officialbearsnflauthentic.com/authentic-kyle-fuller-jersey.html Totka facilitates between 20 to 30 events each month for athletes and celebrities, so he certainly sees those who align themselves with a host of corporations for the wrong reasons.

"A lot of the guys that we do events with, once their hour Justin Ellis Jersey or two is over, they are gone," Totka said. "They are off the clock, and they are out of there."

As Totka has worked more with Bryant he has experienced first hand the side of Bryant that is rarely portrayed in the media: the individual who stays after his allotted time to make sure every fan as an autograph, the guy who makes sure to acknowledge local firefighters and police personnel at corporate appearances.

Despite Bryant already having two endorsement deals under his belt, there remains the potential for even more opportunities if he continues his on the field success and keeps his image intact, according to Todd Sermersheim, Vice President of Football Sales with Relativity Sports and Bryant's Marketing Agent.

"He wants to win so bad," Celenza said. "He doesn't just want to win for him. He wants to win for everyone that has invested in him; Jerry Jones took a chance on him. His family. Tony Romo. One of the things he said to me was, 'I won't let you guys down. I promise you I won't let you guys down'."

Patriots stun Saints as Tom Brady hits KenbrellTompkins for game

FOXBOROUGH Rob Ryan, the Saints' defensive coordinator, couldn't believe it, throwing his long headed mane back in disgust. He should have. You cannot give Tom Brady three chances to win a game and that is just what the Saints did to fall from the unbeaten ranks at Gillette Stadium Sunday.

All the Saints defense needed was one more stop. All the offense needed was one more first down. But all the Patriots needed was Brady.

Bouncing back from one of the worst games of his career in Cincinnati, Brady's 17 yard hookup with rookie Kenbrell Tompkins with five seconds left in the game gave the Pats a 30 27 win and his first ever head to head victory against Drew Brees. Holding on to a one score lead inside the last 3:30, the Saints had stopped Brady on two previous 2:00 drills but couldn't finish him off. It was a hard lesson on the way to 5 1.

For the 5 1 Patriots, it was a typical win, against all odds, with key players hurt and Brady coming out on top. Now it will fall to the Jets, who came into this weekend hoping to tie for the AFC East lead with a win over the Steelers and a Patriots loss. Now, they'll be desperate to avoid a second loss to New England, which would put them, in effect, four games back.

Afterwards, Brady spoke about mental toughness and "seeing what guys are made of" and how this Patriots team is being defined.

"We're 5 1 we're just grinding," he said. "We've had some tough games and none of them have been easy. Hopefully we can use this as a little bit of momentum heading into next week."

"You need a short memory in this game,"Bill Belichick said. "We all have bad plays in this game. The competitors come back, keep competing and get it the next time.

"We competed right to the end but we've got to do it every week," he said. "As great as last week was, we've got to turn the page. We've got to go down and play the Jets and we know how tough that's going to be. We'll get tested here and we'll have to answer the bell."

Like Sunday, when they should have been out for the count

Stew Milne/USA Today Sports

Tom Brady (l.) celebrates with Patriots running back Stevan Ridley, who Wholesale Jerseys scores two touchdowns in the game.

The Saints had taken a 24 23 lead with just under 3:30 left when Brees, on a third and 20 play, hit Kenny Stills with a 35 yard touchdown pass against great coverage. Had it been against many teams, that probably would have been the end of it. But after leaving himself open to the second guessers, Belichick's team pulled it out for him.

It certainly looked bleak after Brady failed to get a first down when the Patriots got the ball back and after Belichick decided to go for it on fourth and six from the 24. Brady had his other rookie, Aaron Dodson, open on a slant but Dodson couldn't make the catch after getting his hands on it. The Saints took over but couldn't move the ball, taking just 22 seconds off the clock before settling for Garrett Hartley's 39 yard field goal with 2:24 left to make it a four point game.

Down by four with the 2:00 warning and one timeout to work with, Brady went deep on the first play and made a bad read threw a terrible pass intended for Julian Edelman and intercepted by Keenan Lewis at the Saints 30.

Now the Saints, with 2:16 left, couldn't move it again and when Brady got it again at his 30, he was suddenly at his best, using all the spare parts that available to him.

He hit Edelman, the guy he missed on that INT, over the middle for 23 and then Austin Collie, the ex Colt who was waived by the 49ers after training camp for 15. He picked up six to Dodson, the guy who dropped the fourth down pass and then, on fourth and four, Collie came up big again with a nine yard catch to the New Orleans 17, where Brady spiked the ball to stop the clock.

Drew Brees (l.) and the Saints suffer their first loss of the season to Chandler Jones and the Patriots.

This is how Brady explained what happened next:

"When the game gets to the end, the margin of error gets smaller. That's when we're at our best. I looked right, came back left. "K" made a move, slipped behind him (veteran CB Jabari Greer) and I just tried to put it where he could make a play. That was pretty sweet."

The touchdown pass was Brady's first of the day and it came after his 52 game touchdown streak was broken by the Bengals a week ago. It also tied him with Fran Tarkenton for fourth place on the all time list with 342. Brees, meanwhile, finished 17 for 36 for 236 yards with two touchdowns. But it was the first time in 11 games going back to last year where he hadn't completed at least 25 passes.

The Patriots could be short handed against the Jets. Cornerback Aqib Talib helped hold Jimmy Graham, who entered the game as the league's leading receiver, without a catch, left the game with a hip injury. Wide receiver Danny Amedola, who missed Wholesale NFL Jerseys the first game against the Jets, was knocked out of the game with a head injury. Linebacker Jerod Mayo left the game in the fourth quarter with a shoulder injury.

Then there's the matter of tight end Rob Gronkowski, who sat out another game with a forearm injury. There are whispers, perhaps unfair, that it's starting to cause some friction in the normally tight Pats locker room because Gronkowski has looked so good in practice and never plays. Owner Bob Kraft said this week that the player knows best and they stand behind his decision.

But all that didn't really matter at the end of the day.

"Winning helps galvanize everything. Cheap Jerseys Losing sucks," Brady said.

Maybe that's why he seldom does it.
